Primary is pleased to announce the sale of Amtech Group to Trimble (NASDAQ: TRMB). Financial terms of the sale were not disclosed.
Amtech is the UK market-leading manufacturer of specialist software for the building services industry. Its range of software is designed specifically for the needs of building service engineers and contractors and includes the most well-known brands in the industry, including Amtech, Luckins, Estimation & ArtrA. Amtech is headquartered in Milton Keynes and employs a skilled workforce of 130.
Peter Jacobs, who led the original deal for Primary in 2010 and represented its interests during the period of investment, commented “We are very pleased to have helped Amtech develop into a leading provider of solutions to the building services market, to have integrated an attractive new Building Information Modelling (BIM) offering and to have achieved a successful exit which has provided Primary with an excellent return.”
