Primary is pleased to announce that it has backed the management buy-out of ASL Group (“ASL”) from the current owners.
ASL is one of the largest independent managed-office services providers in the UK. Headquartered in Cambridge, and with a network of offices across the country, ASL employs 158 people and serves over 5,000 clients, with high levels of recurring revenue.
Under the leadership of Mark Garius and Paul Derry, ASL has established itself as a supplier-agnostic provider, supplying the latest technology from many of the world’s leading manufacturers, including: Kyocera, Ricoh, Canon, Lexmark, HP, Epson, and Konica Minolta.
Primary is investing alongside Mark, Paul and the rest of the management team to support the continued growth and development of the business. The management team has developed a successful track record of acquiring and integrating businesses in its market, having completed 10 acquisitions since 2010.
Managing Director of ASL, Mark Garius, said, “This is an important and significant milestone for ASL that will enable us to continue to grow our business both organically and acquisitively in the market.
Having acquired 10 businesses in the last 10 years, we look forward to the new opportunities that Primary’s investment will bring as we continue to drive better business performance for our customers.”
The deal was led by Alec Parkinson, Oliver Melliss and David Richard at Primary.
