Readypower Rail Services have announced the acquisition of the entire operating rail fleet of MEWPs and RRVs of Holyrail Ltd.
Russell Jack CEO of Readypower Group said “We have done good business with Holyrail Ltd over the last few years and have had an excellent working relationship with them. Through this we understood that there may be a possibility of Holyrail divesting of their fleet to enable them to withdraw from the rail market and concentrate on their core business in waste management and property.
We saw this as an excellent opportunity to continue to improve the Readypower profile with a young well-maintained fleet all running on environmentally friendly tier 4 engines. With the opening of two further operating centres in Warrington and Caldicot South Wales in July, this was an ideal opportunity to acquire more high-quality assets to add to the most modern environmentally friendly RRV fleet in the UK.”
We would like to thank Eamonn Cullen, the owner and Managing Director of Holyrail, for a smooth and pragmatic negotiating process which enabled us to get the deal agreed and completed in less than two weeks. We believe this was an excellent deal for both businesses and wish Eamonn and his team every success in the future.
